KNIGHT WATCH
The Urban Knights currently find themselves in seventh place in the PacWest, one spot out of the conference tournament, despite being tied with UH Hilo at 3-4 in PacWest action. After a
76-59 loss to the Cougars, ART U nearly pulled off the upset against the PacWest leading Eagles of Concordia. Junior guard
Stefan Milivojevic tied for a game-high in points with 19 and ART U outscored Concordia in the second half, but the
Eagles put the game away with free throws down the stretch to hold on for the victory, 70-65. The two-game skid would end in Oakland this past Tuesday, as the Urban Knights
used a 12-1 run late in the second half to pull away from the Hawks and earn the win, 85-76. Junior guard
Victor Ruiz de Carranza would pull down a career-high 14 rebounds to go along with a season-high 10 points for his first double-double of the season, while Milivojevic once again led all scorers with 27 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, including going 4-for-6 from downtown.
Â
It was a total of 52 points for Milivojevic over the three games, as his scoring average climbs to
16.7 points per game, making him
fifth in the conference. His totals have come on the strength of a .579 shooting percentage, a mark that stands third in the PacWest. CHASING THE RECORD BOOKS
In only his junior year, Milivojevic is closing in on ART U career records, as he now sits in third place for 3-pointers made in a career with 103 in 65 games. Milivojevic passed
Ameer Shamsud-din (99; 2011-13) to be alone in third place after his four 3-pointers against HNU, and now sits two buckets behind Alexis Moore (2013-15) for second place at 105. The leader is
