Mission Statement
Academy of Art University Athletics Strength & Conditioning program is designed to train the physical sport-similar demands of each sport through the use of ground-based activities such as Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, plyometrics, speed, agility and sport-similar conditioning, as well as undulating periodized progressions.
Through the physiological adaptation process, the program aims to improve quality of movement, increase force production and force absorption, aid in injury prevention and enhance athletic performance. Each program is designed to functionally train each athlete’s individual sport demands.
Each student-athlete will gain a great sense of accomplishment, mental satisfaction and improved athletic performance through the Academy of Art University Strength & Conditioning program.
