Making it six consecutive races that she has led Academy of Art women's cross country, senior Grace Southern finished inside the top seven for the sixth consecutive time this season with a seventh-place result at the 2024 Pacific West Conference Championship on Oct. 26.

The Textile Design major paced the 97-runner pack at the second split through Great Park's 6k course and ended up delivering the fastest time since her season-best on Sept. 28, going 21:24.3 for seventh overall, earning her a spot on the All-PacWest Team.
