Sophomore guard
Jadence Clifton offered multiple firsts for Academy of Art women's basketball this season in the Urban Knights' 1-1 week finishing their current
homestand.
It was a breakout scoring performance for the Communications & Media Technologies major on
Jan. 24 versus Hawaii Pacific as Clifton poured in a game-high 29 points (the most by an Urban Knight this year) on 10-for-12 shooting from the field including a 3-pointer in the final eight seconds of regulation to force overtime. She tied her season-high nine rebounds while adding three assists, two steals, and one blocked shot. Helping lead the way in a 50-44 Pacific West Conference victory over UH

Jan. 29, the native of Crescent City, Calif. provided 12 points with 10 coming from the free throw line (the most by an Urban Knight this year) as well as three assists, two rebounds, two steals, and a block.
The week saw Clifton average 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. On the season, Clifton ranks 12th in the
PacWest in scoring (12.0 points per game) as well as fifth in assists (3.3) and seventh in steals (2.1) per contest.
