2025 Cal State LA Very Last Chance Results

LOS ANGELES – Academy of Art track & field competed for the third time in three days as the Urban Knights completed their regular season at the Cal State LA Very Last Chance on Sunday inside Jesse Owens Stadium.

The top finishers in both the women's and men's 800m races sported ART U uniforms as Michaela Andrews placed first of seven with a time of 2:10.68 after Ethan Forbes led five others at 1:50.62 across the line. Extremely close to her season-best in the event (2:10.61), Andrews delivered her second NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional mark of the year while Forbes ended under the threshold for the third time in 2025 with his third-fastest performance to date.

Bettering the Outdoor Nationals provisional standard for the ninth time this season (his third time this weekend), Tre'Sean Bouie was well in front of the rest of the field in the 400m dash, going 47.46 for a nearly four-second victory. He remains among the country's top 25 with a season-best 46.80 from the Pacific West Conference Championships last month.

For those who qualify, Outdoor Nationals will take place in Pueblo, Colo. on May 22-24.
