2025 Mt. SAC Relays Results (Day 2)
AZUSA, Calif. – Inside Cougar Stadium for the last round of action in the Bryan Clay Invitational, Academy of Art track & field's Friday was highlighted by
Grace Southern running her fastest 1500m race of the season as the Urban Knights also progressed through the second day of the Mt. SAC Relays.
Southern made it four consecutive 1500m competitions that she has dropped her time as she delivered a new season-best 4:27.85 across the finish line. A NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifier for the second time in the event this year, the Textile Design major could be found among NCAA Division I talent after taking 19th of 160 competitors to stay inside the nation's top 30.
Opening the 400m hurdles event in the first heat,
Josh Marlin's outdoor debut saw him nearly better the Outdoor Nationals provisional standard. The Communications & Media Technologies major turned in a time of 53.19 to take 13th overall out of 34 hurdlers in total, ending 0.04 seconds from the national cutoff.
The Knights will wrap up the week tomorrow with the final day of the Mt. SAC Relays.
