ART U Fourth Through Two Rounds, Zanichelli Leads Way

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. –
Improving in the second round of the Pacific West Conference Championship Tournament, Academy of Art men's golf shot a combined 6-over-par 294 en route to their fourth place ranking through the completion of the day two, now totaling a 13-over-par 589.

Individually, Giulio Zanichelli once again led the Urban Knights with his even-par 72 on Tuesday, now totaling a 1-under-par 143 while he sits in ninth place overall. Staying stationary in the rankings, junior Zach DuBourdieu stays in 17th place through two rounds with a 4-over-par 148, while freshman Mario Stump is next up with his 5-over-par 149. Sharing the same day two scores, DuBourdieu, senior Anson Pan, and freshman Ekam Singh all shot a 2-over-par 74, while the two latter rounded the squad out in the fourth and fifth slots.

Still leading the PacWest Tournament is Hawaii Pacific with their 8-under-par 568, followed up by Hawaii Hilo's 6-under-par 570. Now in sole first on the individual rankings, Dylan Bercan of UH Hilo duplicated his first round to now total an 8-under-par 136, ahead of Fisher Ransom of HPU by just a stroke. 

The third round of action will close out the PacWest Tournament tomorrow, once again starting off at 7 a.m.
