Robbie ArmbresterKNIGHT WATCH
On an impressive stretch with wins in four of their last five, Academy of Art enters their last contest of the current five-game homestand after coming off a close 68-60 overtime triumph against Fresno Pacific. The Urban Knights left the Sunbirds scoreless in the extra period as the squad outscored them 8-0 en route to the victory where multiple members of ART U saw success.

Junior forward Robbie Armbrester recorded undoubtedly his all-around best game thus far with the Knights against FPU on Dec. 13, in which the transfer scored his second-most points of the season, and added on four steals and two blocks defensively. Senior forward Quintin Metcalf was a main contributor towards the squad's success as well, as he recorded his third double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Senior forward Isaiah Williams led the team in scoring with 14 points, with the fourth and final Knight in the double-digits in senior guard Rodney Munson put up 12. Munson, Williams, Metcalf, and redshirt junior guard Donovan Vickers each average double-digit points on the season as well, while the quartet leads in rebounding average as well as all are 4.4 and above.

In the conference rankings, Knights are spread all across the leaderboards highlighted by Munson's fourth-best 15.6 points per game, Williams' seventh-best 15.2 ppg, and Metcalf's third-best 8.1 average in rebounds. Additionally, Vickers is up there with the best of them in three-point percentage (.444) in second place overall in the conference.

CRUISING BY CHAMINADE
Chaminade currently holds a 8-2 record, are 2-1 in conference, and will enter Kezar Pavilion after their upcoming game with Dominican. The Silverswords are riding high as they are coming off a 92-88 conference victory against Menlo this past Tuesday night, while additionally taking down Hawaii Pacific and Nobel last week to make it three-straight wins for the squad. While Chaminade leads the conference in points per game (93.4 ppg), they are on the opposite end in defense allowing 76.6 points per game, the most in the PacWest. ART U's past three matchups have seen neither side score 80 points or more with their defensive style of play, so the game script between the teams will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Like the Knights, the Silverswords spread the ball around as well as anyone in the conference, with six players averaging double-digit points and five members averaging 4.8 rebounds or more. Defensively, Chaminade is up there with the best of them in steals per game (13.3 per game), fourth-best in NCAA Division II. Although Chaminade leads the all-time series at 21-8, the Knights have won the last three showings between the two.
