2023 Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout (Final Results)

ALAMEDA, Calif. – Due to extremely high winds, the final round of the 2023 Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout hosted at Chuck Corica Golf Complex by Cal State East Bay has been canceled. With that, Academy of Art men's golf finishes in 15th place based on their first two round scores that were played yesterday, while junior Allan Osornio ends in a tie for 54th place. 

Osornio posted the best round of the day by an Urban Knight in his second round yesterday, as he turned in an even-par 72, dropping five birdies over the course of his round including three on the back nine where he was 2-under par. For a full recap of yesterday's action, click here. 

Cal State San Marcos takes home the team championship after combining for a 10-under-par 566, while multiple tiebreakers were used to decide a winner for the individual portion, which resulted in Andy Yoon of Cal State Dominguez Hills as the individual champion as he was 8-under-par 136 (along with second place Greg Mouser of CSUSM and Luke Dugger of Holy Names). 

Academy of Art will be back in action in just two weeks, as the Urban Knights participate in the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational hosted by Stanislaus State from Turlock Country Club beginning on March 27.
