KNIGHT WATCH
Lily PerkinsComing into the final week of the regular season, Academy of Art remains third in the Pacific West Conference in both steals (10.3) and offensive rebounds (13.9) per game. Graduate student guard Tayler Bennett is just outside the conference's top 10 scorers, averaging 14.9 points per game on the year and 20.0 points per contest in her last five games while junior guard Pam Wilmore is 14th in the PacWest at 13.7 points per game. Riding a streak of five straight games with three or more 3-pointers made, Bennett continues to lead the PacWest in triples made per game (3.0) which is good for 21st in NCAA Division II. With two games to play, Bennett finds herself just six 3-pointers away from breaking the program's single-season record of 78 set by Sha'Nice Storey in 2016. Senior guard Josselyn Morris, who is putting up 9.6 points per game, comes in averaging 2.6 3-pointers per contest to rank third in the PacWest while both she and Bennett are among the top three in three-point field goal percentage (.362 and .317 respectively). Wilmore remains second in the conference both at 5.6 assists per game (12th in NCAA DII) and 2.4 steals per game. The PacWest's top 15 in steals per game also feature Bennett (2.0, tied for third), freshman forward Aari'yanna Sanders (1.7, 11th), and junior guard/forward Lily Perkins (1.6, 15th).

LION'S ROAR
Point Loma has gone 5-6 since its Jan. 13 matchup with Academy of Art in San Diego, splitting with Concordia, being swept by Fresno Pacific, but topping Holy Names and Notre Dame de Namur most recently. The Sea Lions currently rank first in the PacWest in rebounding margin (9.3) and are third in scoring at 75.5 points per game. PLNU is led offensively by Onjalise Carley-Hilliard's 15.1 points per game (ninth in PacWest) which come with the top field goal percentage in the conference (.523). Cara Liggins is the team's top rebounder at 8.0 rebounds per game (eighth in PacWest). A relatively even historical matchup with ART U favors Point Loma slightly at 8-6.

ARGUING THE ARGOS
After scoring just 42 points in a Dec. 21 loss to the Urban Knights back on Dec. 21, Notre Dame de Namur lost five straight, but then won five of its next eight before falling to Concordia and Point Loma most recently. The Argonauts are slated to face Dominican on Feb. 27 prior to ending the regular season as hosts to Academy of Art. NDNU has its defense to thank for its success, ranking third as a team in the PacWest with just 58.5 points per game allowed. No Argo ranks among the conference's top 10 in any statistical category, but Cheyenn Jankulovski is the team's scoring leader at 10.0 points per contest. In 22 previous meetings, ART U holds a 14-8 advantage.

CONCORDIA TOPS URBAN KNIGHTS IN IRVINE
After starting the game by shooting over 66 percent from the field in the opening quarter, Academy of Art women's basketball found itself three points back of Concordia (Calif.) at halftime, but the Eagles gained separation in the third and went on to win 95-61 in Pacific West Conference rematch inside CU Arena on Feb. 22.
