KNIGHT WATCH
19353As it has for much of the season, Academy of Art remains a top-three team in the PacWest in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 14.6 per contest. Offensively, sophomore forward Lily Perkins has emerged as a major offensive threat with 21 or more points in each of her last four games including a season-high 27 versus Dominican. Offensively, sophomore forward Lily Perkins has scored 20 or more points in five of ART U's last six games, bringing her scoring average up to 15.0 points per game (11th in PacWest). On the defensive side, she along with freshman guard Chanel Stuart both find themselves among the PacWest's top six in steals per game at 2.3 (Stuart) and 2.0 (Perkins). Perkins had a career-high six thefts in her most recent outing while Stuart had three steals in each of her previous two games. Following back-to-back 16-rebound performances to tie her career-high, junior forward Ines Medina has elevated to fourth in the conference in rebounding at 8.8 per game while moving into first in offensive rebounds per game specifically (3.3). With 136 offensive rebounds in her career, she finds herself now ninth in program history and remains three blocks away from that top 10.

COUGARS IN CONTROL
Ranked No. 23 in the latest WBCA poll, Azusa Pacific has sustained only one PacWest loss in 20 games played thus far. The Cougars were 6-0 when they topped ART U 97-58 on Dec. 19 and were 14-0 before Hawaii Pacific dealt APU its lone conference loss by a score of 81-72 on Jan. 30. Wining five straight since that time, Azusa Pacific can attribute much of its success to its defense as the Cougars lead the PacWest in opponent field goal percentage (34.6 percent), opponent three-point percentage (27.7 percent), blocks per game (6.0, second in NCAA DII), and steals per game (11.15). APU has relied on Savannah Hanson's 16.4 points per game (fifth in PacWest) heavily and she joins a trio of shot blockers among the top seven in the conference with Laura Pranger (3.0 blocks per game), Cierra Roufosse (1.2 bpg), and Hanson (1.0 bpg) providing an intimidating defense. Azusa Pacific comes into this matchup 7-3 all-time versus Academy of Art.

AN EAGLES ENDING
Though not eligible for the PacWest Tournament until next season, Biola finds itself vying for what would be the sixth seed heading into this final week. After defeating ART U 82-55 back on Jan. 7, the Eagles went 3-9 defeating only Holy Names and Chaminade twice. For a team that will play Dominican on Feb. 28 before the Urban Knights,  BU's leading scorer is Jazz Benn who ranks 19th in the conference at 12.6 points per game. Coming off what was just the teams' second meeting to date, Biola enters this matchup leading ART U 2-0 all-time.

ACADEMY OF ART HONORS SENIORS IN HOME FINALE
Following a pre-ceremony to honor guards Taloni Reese and Inga Kot, the Academy of Art women's basketball team faced off against Notre Dame de Namur in a Senior Night rematch on Feb. 21 inside Kezar Pavilion. The hard-fought battle saw career-high performances from multiple Urban Knights, but ultimately resulted in a 54-45 Pacific West Conference win for the Argonauts.
