TURLOCK, Calif. – Academy of Art men's golf closed out the final round of the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational with a total of 308 strokes, tying Biola for 10th-place.

For the second-consecutive tournament,
Lawrence Liang led the Urban Knights, tying for 24th after shooting an even, 72 on Tuesday. Liang scored three birdies and 12 pars in the final round, jumping 14 spots after entering the final day in 38th.
"It is really exciting watching Lawrence become the player that we both know he can be," said head coach
Andy Moren. "He has really improved in his understanding of how to manage the game and let all of the practice take over."
Sophomore
Gabriel De Leon Manotoc was the second scorer for ART U as he finished tied for 34th with a final round of 79 (227 overall). Next was freshman
Tommy Nguyen who matched his second-round score of 75 in the final set of 18 holes, finishing tied for 47th. The final Knights' scorer was freshman
Matthew Watkins. In 70th, Watkins scored an 82 in the final round.

Academy of Art will now have two weeks to prepare for the PacWest Conference Championship which will take place April 23-25 at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
"Almost everybody has had solid performances throughout the year," said Moren. "Our hope is to put it all together in the conference tournament."
