2018 PacWest Championship Round Two Results

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – On the final day of the PacWest Championship, Academy of Art men's golf shot their way into sixth-place with 302 strokes in the final round. Two Urban Knights were named to the All-Tournament Team as sophomore Gabriel De Leon Manotoc and freshman Matthew Watkins finished seventh and tied for eighth respectively.
 
Entering the day tied for 10th, Manotoc jumped three spots for a seventh-place finish thanks to his best round of the tournament (71), which was also the team's lowest score of the day. Watkins tied for eighth when it was all said and done, despite being tied for first after the opening round. He was beat out by Dixie State's Nicklaus Britt for the top spot.
 
In third-place for the Urban Knights was junior Lawrence Liang. Capping off the best season of his career, Liang tied for 14th in the field of 49 with a third-round score of 75. The final scorer for ART U was junior Jose Lopez Butron (39th-place). Butron finished the tournament with a total of 237 strokes.
 
Academy of Art's sixth-place finish is tied for the second-lowest score in program-history at the PacWest Championship.
