No. 11 Academy of Art vs. No. 21 Azusa Pacific Final Results
AZUSA, Calif. – In search of a perfect, 3-0 road trip to Southern California, No. 21 Azusa Pacific stood in the way of Academy of Art. However, the Cougars could not contend with the No. 11 Urban Knights as ART U took the match 5-2 to improve to 12-2 on the season.

As per usual, the Knights looked strong in doubles, winning two out of three matches in that category. The No. 11 sophomore tandem
Alma Thell-Lenntorp and
Klara Thell-Lenntorp took their match 8-3 while senior
Annika Schneider and sophomore
Taisiia Andrieieva edged their No. 2 doubles opponent 8-6.

The contest would see just four singles matches played before ART U emerged victorious; the Urban Knights came away with wins in the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions. K. Thell-Lenntorp defeated her adversary in fourth singles by a score of 6-1, 6-4 with her sister, A. Thell-Lenntorp taking a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the fifth position. Recently named the PacWest player of the Week for the week of March 27, Alma now improves to 13-0 in singles this year. Sophomore
Paula Alcantara picked up Academy of Art's final point in sixth singles, also taking her match in straight sets (6-0, 6-4).

The Urban Knights will now head home to prepare for their next match at Division I, San Jose State University on March 31. First serve is set for noon.Â
