TO CONFERENCE WE GO
After going 1-5 to open the season against non-conference opponents, Academy of Art men's basketball will now begin PacWest Conference-play. Their first two games will take place on the road when they head to Azusa Pacific on Thursday, followed by Dixie State on Saturday.

KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Senior guard Kendall Brown has led the Urban Knights on both sides of the ball this season, averaging a team-leading, 15.3 points per game. The Corona, Calif. native has reached double digit figures in all six games thus far including matching a career-high against Saint Martin's with 22. Brown is also averaging 5.8 rebounds which is ART U's second-highest figure. Junior center Cameron Niven has also been a catalyst for Academy of Art this season, averaging 9.5 points and 6.5 rebounds with a team-high, .578 field goal percentage. Niven also had a big game against Saint Martin's, dropping career-highs in points (15) and rebounds (11) for a career-first double-double.
 
COUGARS ON THE PROWL FOR A VICTORY
After starting out the season with three-consecutive victories, Azusa Pacific has struggled as of late, going 1-for-4 in their last five contests. Their last victory came against Simon Fraser when they held the Clan to just 56 points in the 66-56 win. Darien McClain leads APU with an average 13.3 points per game, while Petar Kutlesic leads the team defensively with 7.9 rebounds per game.
 
DIXIE LOOKING TO BLAZE INTO CONFERENCE
The Trailblazers have picked up a victory in each of the three tournaments that they have played in thus far and hold a record of 3-4. Their most recent win came against Dickinson State, a 10-point triumph over the Blue Hawks. Dixie State will open PacWest-play at home with a pair of matches against ART U and Azusa Pacific. The Trailblazers have a pair of individuals averaging double-digit point totals including Trevor Hill who is third in the conference with 19.9 per game.

PREVIOUS GAME: UNRELENTING OFFENSE LEADS ART U TO FIRST VICTORY
Nov. 25 - After coming alive in the first half with 17 unanswered points, Academy of Art men's basketball was able to hold on for their first victory of the season, a 70-50 triumph over Missouri S&T.
