Concordia Invitational Final Results
 
PORTLAND, Ore. – After posting a strong two rounds to start to the Concordia Invitational, Academy of Art men's golf held their ground on Tuesday, securing sixth-place overall.
 
Sophomore Gabriel De Leon Manotoc was the Urban Knights' top scorer, tying for eighth-place with 219 strokes. In second place for ART U was freshman Tommy Nguyen who finished just four strokes behind Manotoc. Nguyen shot a 73 on Tuesday, his second-lowest round of the tournament (70, 80). The final two scorers for the Urban Knights were freshman Matthew Watkins and junior Lawrence Liang. Both tied for 40th overall with a total of 232 strokes.
 
Overall, Academy of Art finished the invitational with a total of 898 strokes which was 13 behind fifth-place Stanislaus State and 30 back from the team-champion, British Columbia.
 
ART U will now return home to prepare for their final tournament of the fall, The Otter Invitational which runs October 16-17.
