THREE MATCHES IN FIVE DAYS
The Urban Knights lost their second match of the season on Saturday when they faced off against Division I, University of Nevada. The Wolf Pack was their second DI opponent of the season and overtook the Knights with a 6-1 victory. Academy of Art now turns their head towards Concordia University Irvine (March 2) Point Loma (March 4), and Hawaii Pacific (March 5) in their busiest week to date. KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Two Urban Knights remain undefeated in singles, with freshmen Taisiia Andrieieva and Klara Thell-Lenntorp posting 2-0 and 5-0 records respectively. Playing in third singles, Thell-Lenntorp was the only Knight to capture a victory against University of Nevada.
 
EAGLES IN THE WEST
Concordia University Irvine heads to San Francisco to play ART U for the first time in women's tennis after joining the PacWest and NCAA DII since competing in the NAIA's Golden State Athletic Conference. The Eagles are currently 3-4 after defeating Division I, Villanova University on Saturday.
 
POINT LOMA IN THE MIX
The Sea Lions are currently ranked 31st in NCAA DII and are 4-3 on the season after falling 8-1 to the DIII Claremont Mudd-Scripts. Nikki Newell currently leads the Sea Lions with a 5-1 record in first singles and also owns a 3-3 doubles record.
 
SERVES UP
Hawaii Pacific comes into Saturday's match ranked eighth in the country and is 4-0, outscoring their opponents 28-3. This will be the first matchup between the two teams since HPU eliminated ART U for the second consecutive season with a 5-3 victory in the first round of the NCAA tournament in 2015.

ART U EDGED 4-5 BY NO. 26 SONOMA STATE
February 28 – No. 23 Academy of Art Women's Tennis (3-2) welcomed in University of Nevada on Saturday, their second Division I opponent of the season. After battling hard throughout, the Urban Knights fell 6-1.
 
In doubles, senior Michelle Dandik and junior Annika Schneider fell 6-2 while freshmen Alma Thell-Lenntorp and Klara Thell-Lenntorp dropped their first doubles match of the season, 6-4.

LOOKING AHEAD
After facing HPU, ART U will head to Florida to play their toughest stretch of the season with five matches in five days (March 14-19). The Knights' opponents will include: No. 7 Nova Southeastern, No. 4 Barry University, No. 5 Lynn University, No. 39 Palm Beach Atlantic, and No. 12 NYIT.
