BACK TO BASKETBALL
After three weeks off from competition, the Urban Knights look to make it three wins in-a-row when they take on Dixie State, followed by Dominican, and Chaminade.

KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Senior forward
Chris Salas leads the team in several categories including average: points (12.0), rebounds (6.0), and minutes played (29.2). Salas is also one of just two players to have started all nine games this season. Freshman forward
Luka Radovic is the other Knight with nine starts and was recently named
PacWest Conference Freshman of the Week after leading his team to a 2-0 week to close out the 2016 portion of the season. The Cacak, Serbia native averaged 10.5 points over the two wins, including tying a career-high, 15 points against Holy Names on
December 11. Radovic is also third in the PacWest with an average 1.4 blocks per game

TRAILBLAZERS ON A ROLL
After starting the year at a 1-2 clip, Dixie State won six of their last seven. Their one loss during that span came in the form of a narrow defeat by Azusa Pacific, 104-103 in overtime on December 10. DSU's  Trevor Hill ranks high amongst the conference standings, as he is second in average assists (5.2), third in assists/turnover ratio (2.0), and is tied for third in rebounding (8.3 per game). Josh Fuller is their most efficient shooter, ranking third in the conference with a .602 field goal percentage.

PENGUINS IN A RUT
Currently in the midst of a 3-game losing streak, Dominican heads into their first game of 2017 3-8, 2-3 (PacWest). Their two conference wins have come against Holy Names and BYU-Hawaii. Jeremiah Gray leads the team in shooting with 15.9 points per contest (10th in the PacWest) and also leads the Penguins with an average 30.6 minutes per game.

SILVERSWORDS TO THE WEST COAST
Chaminade will face Concordia and California Baptist at home before leaving Honolulu for a 3-game stay in California. The Silverswords are 7-5 overall, 4-2 PacWest and are in the midst of a 3-game winning streak. Earlier in the season, Chaminade took part in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational and came close to defeating Division I, University of Connecticut, eventually falling 93-82. Rohndell Goodwin's 20.8 points per game are the third-most in the PacWest and Austin Pope leads the team with an average 7.8 rebounds (6th in the conference) and is tied for first with 0.6 blocks per contest.

Dec. 12 - Academy of Art men's basketball (3-6, 2-1 PacWest) exuded dominance over Holy Names (1-9, 0-3 PacWest) on Sunday. The Urban Knights never trailed and used the combined-efforts of four players with double-digit points to take home their second-consecutive victory.
LOOKING AHEAD
Academy of Art will head to southern California for a pair of games on January 14 and 16, taking on Azusa Pacific and No. 8 California Baptist.
