PacWest Men's Basketball Weekly Awards--11.14.16
 

IRVINE, CALIF. – Freshman guard Dante Williams was named PacWest Conference Freshman of the Week after a highly productive pair of games to start his collegiate career.
 
Coming off of the bench against SF State in the season opener, Williams scored 16 points in 19 minutes including going 10-for-10 at the foul line. He became just the 10th Urban Knight to convert 10 or more free throws in a single game.
 
The following night in a dramatic win over Stanislaus State, Williams followed up his debut with 17 points including four crucial free throws in overtime.
 
This is Williams' first career PacWest weekly award.
