2015 CBU Men's Invitational Final Results
CORONA, Calif. — A strong final round push Tuesday helped the Academy of Art University men's team jump three spots in the team standings and grab an 11th place showing at California Baptist University Men's Invitational at the Eagle Glen Golf Club.

All four scorers broke 80 Tuesday for the first time in the tournament's three rounds as the Urban Knights moved up from their 14th place position after Monday's opening rounds. The Knights shot a 303 team total in the final round to finish with a 923, just five strokes away from the top-10. Simon Fraser won the team title with a three-round team total of 870.

Senior Alberto "Dago" Esponda moved up eight spots with a two-over 74 and finished tied for 28th with junior
Dat Do, who fell back eight spots with a six-over 78. Senior
Eugene Wang climbed 11 positions in the individual standings for a tie for 39th place with his best round of the tournament, a two-over 74. Freshman
Oskar Frick also shot his best round of the tournament, cutting his second round score by eight strokes to shoot a five-over 77 and finish tied for 76th.

Dixie State's Kenny You won individual medalist honors with a 213 (-3) three-round total. Seven Pacific West Conference teams were in the tournament, with ART U finishing fifth among the group by beating Notre Dame de Namur (13th, 926) and Hawaii Pacific (14th, 931).

The Urban Knights next compete Monday and Tuesday at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout hosted by Cal State East Bay at Hiddenbrooke Golf Course in Vallejo, Calif.
