ART U TIPS OFF AT HOME
The Urban Knights head home this week, competing in their first two home games of the 2015-16 season.

The Academy of Art will face #17 Chico State on Tuesday, November 24, at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, November 28, SF State crosses the city for a rematch of last Friday's game in the Ron Logsdon Basketball Classic. KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Junior guard Chris Salas is the early season leader in several categories: points (15.8 per game), three-point field goal percentage for those with more than 10 attempts (.688), rebounds (5.0 per game), and is tied for first with sophomore guard Jase Harrison with 1.3 steals per game. Both sophomore guard, Uchenna Okeneme and senior guard Nick Cary had standout games on Saturday. Okeneme almost completed a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds. Cary was 4-for-5 from behind the three-point line and scored 12 total points (his highest total since scoring 13 at Dixie State on New Year's Eve, 2014).

WILDCATS ON A ROLL
#17 Chico State comes to town 2-0, 0-0, CCAA, but is on a six game regular-season winning streak that dates back to last season. Tuesday's game will be the first matchup between the two schools since 2011. The Wildcats have been led thus far by Corey Silverstrom who has averaged 20.0 points per game and has a .667 three-point field goal percentage.
 
SF STATE LOOKS TO STAY HOT
The Gators enter this week 3-0, 0-0 CCAA, their best start since going 4-0 to begin the 2010-11 season. SF State handed the Urban Knights their first loss last Friday by a final score of 72-53. Nick Calcaterra has been at the helm, leading the team in points (43), points per game (14.3), 3-pointers made (seven), and is tied for the lead in free throw percentage (1.000, 6-for-6).

TALE OF TWO HALVES: ART U FALLS 77-56
Nov. 21- It was a tale of two halves on Saturday as the Urban Knights fell to Sonoma State 77-56.
Academy of Art, now 2-2 overall and 0-0 in conference came out of the gate firing on all cylinders. For much of the first half, ART U led the Seawolves (now 4-1, 0-0 in conference) and even enjoyed an eight-point lead in the early goings. However, Sonoma State was able to mount a comeback and take a three-point lead at the half (37-34).

LOOKING AHEAD
On December 5, the Academy of Art heads to Belmont to take on Notre Dame de Namur in their first PacWest matchup of the season.
