Final Results

Turlock, CA -- The Academy of Art University men's golf team finished up their final regular season tournament at the Hanny Stanislaus Invitational with the final round on Tuesday. The Urban Knights improved from the first round to the second, but fell back in the third round to finish in 18th place overall. 

Eugene Wang shot the best round of the tournament, firing a 76 in the second round, while Dago Esponda (second round) and Cody Moore (first round) each got in scores of 77. Tommaso Vielmo had his best round in the second, while Dat Do did his best in the first round before improving from the second to the third. 

Cal State Monterey Bay took the overall title, with Chico State coming in second place and host Cal State Stanislaus taking third in the team standings. Lee Gearhart (Chico) and Trevor Clayton (CSUS) tied for first overall in the individual standings. 

The Urban Knights will have a couple days off before competing and hosting the Pacific West Conference Championship on Friday and Saturday of this week in Vallejo.
