KNOWING NOTRE DAME
The 2013-14 season for Notre Dame de Namur began with a 64-63 victory over Western Oregon, but the remainder of non-conference play (five games) went the way of the Argos' opponents. NDNU bounced back with an 84-76 win against Dixie State on Dec. 5, but a 63-60 overtime loss to Azusa Pacific two days later began a five-game losing streak that took NDNU to Southern California. Back in the Bay Area on Jan. 11, Angela Kristensen's Argos defeated Holy Names 84-73, but then fell to California Baptist, UH Hilo, and Hawaii Pacific during the homestand that followed. On Jan. 23, NDNU topped BYU-Hawaii 74-70 then dropped back-to-back games to Fresno Pacific (69-64, 87-71) most recently. Thus far, the team is led by Jennifer Jasper's 13.7 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while Maya Arellanes adds 12.3 points per game while averaging nearly two 3-pointers made per contest. Historically, ART U holds a 6-2 advantage over NDNU with all six victories coming since the pair the Argos won in the first two years.

KNIGHTS WIN TWO ON THE ROAD
The Urban Knights, now 12-1 in PacWest paly, handled both Dixie State and Point Loma on the road most recently following a perfect homestand that saw three Hawaii schools journey to the Bay Area. Win number 11 came in the form of a 98-85 victory over Dixie State on Jan. 30 inside Burns Arena. The Urban Knights rallied back from a halftime deficit in a big way with a program record 61 second half points, finishing the game with 33 points scored off 30 Red Storm turnovers. Camera led five ART U players scoring in double figures with 21 points.

Playing well at the future site of this year's Pacific West Conference Championship Tournament on Feb. 1, ART U quickly got out to a lead and never looked back. The Urban Knights defeated Point Loma 81-70 inside Golden Gymnasium thanks to an 18-0 second half run and a 66-46 rebounding edge spearheaded by double-doubles from Forthan and Guinn.

LOOKING AHEAD
The Urban Knights have another contest as part of this two-game homestand with Holy Names coming to Kezar Pavilion on Thursday, Feb. 13. Tipoff is set for 5:30 PM.
