San Francisco, CA - After starting conference play 2-0, the Academy of Art University's softball team had two players named to the Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll. The annoucement came Sunday evening from the Pacific West Conference. The two players to receive the award were senior Alana Aweau, and junior Genna Allen. The two received the honors for their play during the week of February 28th. 

Aweau, (Fairfield, CA), led the team in their two games last week. She batted .600 going 3-5 with four runs scored, three runs batted in, and earned one walk. She also recorded a walk-off home-run in game two of the double header. Alana posted a 1.200 slugging percentage, and a .667 on base mark in the double header.

Allen, (Thousand Oaks, CA), played a major role in ART U's two victories on March 5th. She went 4-7 to hit .571 in the double header. She also posted on home-run, three runs scored, four runs batted in, and had one stolen base. Genna finished her week with a 1.000 slugging rate, and a .571 on base percetnage.
