Nicole DeRosier, Alisa Griggs, and Jessica Nolan Make Top 10 Honor Roll

  Three Urban Knights were selected to the PacWest Weekly Honor Roll. Nicole DeRosier earns her fifth PacWest Honor Roll selection, Jessica Nolan makes it nine nods on the season, and freshman Alisa Griggs makes her debut on the Top 10 Honor Roll for her outstanding game play in the Urban Knights win over Dominican University on February 25th.

The award was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Feb. 28, for games held Feb. 21-27.

Nicole DeRosier
DeRosier scored 19 points while shooting 54.5% (6 for 11) from the floor in ART U's decisive victory over the Penguins. The junior was 3 for 3 from the free-throw line, posted two assists and made 4-of-7 (57.1%) three-pointers. For the week DeRosier ranked seventh in three-point shooting in the conference. Overall, Nicole is ranked sixth in scoring in the conference. She is also second in the conference in 3-pointers made (73) and 3-point percentage (40%).

Alisa Griggs scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds in the Urban Knights 80-71 victory over Dominican.

The freshman was perfect from the field (4 for 4)and shot 90.9% (10 for 11) from the charity stripe. Griggs is sixth in the conference in free-throw percentage (78%). During the Dominican game Alisa scored nine of the final 18 points to give ART U a 42-27 advantage going into halftime.

JessicaNolan Drive
Jessica Nolan continued to build on her double-double record (12) by scoring 16 points and collecting 10 rebounds. The senior was 5-of-8 from the field (62.5%). On the whole Nolan is atop the PacWest in numerous categories. Nolan is currently third in the conference in shooting percentage with an impressive 57.9%. She is seventh in the PacWest in scoring with 12.6 points per game. She is fourth in the conference in rebounding (9.5 rpg), sixth in assists (76), and 11th in steals (43).
