San Francisco, CA - Academy of Art University's freshman pitcher, Katie Brooks, has been named to the Pacific West Conference Top 10 Honor Roll. The announcment came from the PWC office on Sunday night. Brooks was honored for her play during the week of February 20th.

Brooks (Grover Beach, CA) was excellent for the Urban Knights in the series against CSU Monterey Bay. She earned a complete game victory in a 2-1 win last week. During her outting, she allowed just one earned run in seven innings pitched. Katie posted three strikeouts, and allowed just three singles in the game. She finished her day by keeping her opponents to a measley .125 batting average.
