Phoenix, AZ – An impressive 25-point, five rebound performance against Dominican this past week had junior forward Keith Davis on the PacWest Weekly Top 10 Honor Roll for the ninth time this season. It is the third consecutive week in which Davis has represented Academy of Art on the weekly PacWest list. The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Feb. 28, for games contested on Feb. 21-27.

Though Dominican got out to an early lead in the Feb. 25 matchup, Davis ignited a 9-2 ART U response with free throws. Three and a half minutes in, the junior forward knocked down a pair and then promptly stole the in-bound pass. He put in another two at the foul line and would finish with 12 points in the opening period.

A close game in the second half, Davis had numerous buckets to help Academy of Art hold its lead. There was a stretch where the Long Beach, CA native scored 11 straight points for the Urban Knights and he would finish with a game-high 25 points at the end of the night.

Extremely efficient at the free throw line, Davis made seven of his eight attempts (87.5%) and shot 50% from beyond the three-point arc (2-of-4). Along with his 25 points and five rebounds, Davis also had a pair of steals in the contest.

With his third PacWest Weekly Honor Roll selection in a row, Davis has amassed nine honors thus far in his first season as an Urban Knight.
