Complete Final Results

Livermore, CA-- Sophomore Stuart Favretto shot a season low 224 over three rounds on the par-72 Poppy Ridge Golf  course during the NDNU Invitational. Favretto beat out golfers from some of the nations top golf clubs to finish tied for 23rd place.

Favretto carded a par-72 during his first hole and a 78 on his last hole of the day Monday afternoon and then followed it up with a 74 today in the third and final, good for 23rd in the field of 82 golfers.

Erik Majzner finished the day tied for 44th with a 73-80-77-230 and Matt Garcia carded a 78-80-85-243, helping the Urban Knights finish 41strokes ahead of Dominican University with a 953.

Dave Carney wrapped up the two day tournament with a score of  256 (80-90-86) which garnered him a 78th place finish.

Overall, CSU Stanislaus edged out Chico State by five strokes, to take the top spot of the tournament with a combined score of 860. Individually Cal State Monterey Bay's Scott Yeakel finished number one with a 70-69-69-208.

The Urban Knights golf club hits the green again next week, when they travel to Phoenix, AZ to participate in the Grand Canyon University Invitational.
