Multiple gold medals were earned by Academy of Art track & field's Josh Marlin at the Pacific West Conference Championships this past weekend in Fresno.

After moving through as the leader in the 400m hurdles prelims on Apr. 25, Marlin improved his time with a 51.29 for first place in the Apr. 26 final while elevating to eighth in the country among NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifiers. The Communications & Media Technologies major was not finished there, however, as he joined Tre'Sean Bouie, Robin Black, and Vaughn Lacour in winning the 4x400m relay title as well. As a quartet, the Urban Knights delivered a time of 3:11.66 to give ART U three different combinations inside the top 31 in the nation.
