Freshman Crystal Superal continued her impressive play in Academy of Art University's inaugural women's golf season with a first place victory at the InterWest Chico State Invitational this past week. In two days of work at the Butte Creek Country Club (Mar. 22-23), Superal posted a final score of 149 (74-75) which ended up being six strokes ahead of second place, helping the Knights finish in fifth place as a team. Not only was this the second consecutive individual title for Superal (she won the Dominican Invitational on Mar. 16), but it was also her third straight tournament finish in the top two.
