Deftly orchestrating the Academy of Art volleyball offense to Pacific West Conference play, senior setter Elly McInerney guided the Urban Knights to a 2-0 start this past weekend in Hawaii.

In ART U's five-set comeback victory over UH Hilo on Sept. 19, McInerney posted season-highs across the board with 46 assists, 13 digs, four service aces, and three kills. Three of her four service aces opened the Knights' 4-0 start to the fifth set and pushed the squad to a 3-2 win. The Communications & Media Technologies major would be back at it with 30 more assists and six digs two days later on Sept. 21 as Academy of Art put away Hawaii Pacific 3-0.

McInerney remains fourth in the PacWest with 8.24 assists per set.
