2015 (T&F): Set the program record in the indoor 5,000m (17:52.33) at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 13 and the outdoor 3,000m (10:36.28) at the Stanislaus Open ... posted a personal best in the outdoor 1500m (4:55.35) at the Kim Duyst Invitational and the 5000m (17:56.07) at the Johnny Mathis Invitational ... offered season-bests in the outdoor 3000m (10:36.28) at the Stanislaus Open, and 10,000m (37:58.48) at the SF State Distance Carnival.

High School: Christenson was a four-year letter winner in both cross country and track & field at Baraboo High School in Wisconsin ... three-time First Team All-State (2010-12) ... three-time First Team All-Conference (2010-12) ... three-time MVP (2010-12) ... Iron Runner ... Division I Cross Country State Champion and Wisconsin Runner of the Year in 2012 ... Most Dedicated and Outstanding Track Performer in 2011 ... Outstanding Freshman in 2010 ... holds school records for cross country as well as track & field (1600 - 5:09.18, 3200 - 11:12.13) ... lists her best sports moment as becoming Division I State Champion at the Wisconsin 100th Anniversary State Cross Country Meet which ironically took place on her birthday.

Personal: McKaela Christenson was born October 27, 1994 in Mauston, Wis. ... parents are Michele Yates-Wickus and Matt Christenson ... has one half brother, Odin, and three step-siblings, Tessah, Justin, and Michael ... hopes to become a fashion designer ... enjoys running, sewing, sketching, biking, knitting, hiking, and fashion ... Fashion Design major.
