KICKOFF
The only match of the week will take place this Thursday as the first act of ART U soccer's doubleheader scheduled for an 11 a.m. kickoff. Remember to follow @ARTU_Knights via the athletics app (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and on Twitter & Instagram, as well as "Like" the Urban Knights on Facebook for score updates, videos, and recaps.

KNIGHT WATCH
Leading ART U in points this season is newcomer and junior forward Kristian Longvig, who has three thus far with a goal and assist each. Four different Knights have scored a goal this season, as Lonvig pairs his with sophomore midfielder Joey Glaab, freshman midfielder Keita Goto, and redshirt junior forward Elvis Mensah. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Florian Grollmann has been the man in net all season for ART U, as he ranks among the top-5 in saves, saves per game, and shutouts per game within the PacWest Conference leaders. Grollmann makes sure the Knights always have a chance, as he's given up no more than two goals in each of his last five contests.

CAGING THE EAGLES
Sitting just below .500 on the season overall at 3-5-1 are the Eagles of Biola, including a 1-1-0 mark in PacWest play with a loss to Westmont and victory against Concordia most recently, taking the close match 2-1. The Eagles' offense has seen a plethora of action as 17 members of the squad have earned at least one point, with the highest amount being nine by Ethan Hardin with his four goals and one assist through nine matches. Gijs van Shouten has seen the most time in net, as he's recorded just a .660 save percentage as he's given up 16 goals with 31 saves. The all-time series between the two teams has gone the way of Biola, 5-1-1.

HPU'S LATE FIRST HALF GOAL JUST ENOUGH TO EDGE ART U
Squared up with Hawaii Pacific out at Waipio Stadium, Academy of Art men's soccer grounded a 1-0 deficit to the Sharks after a score in the final minutes of the first half for HPU was enough to take the victory on Oct. 6.

LOOKING AHEAD
ART U will hit the road once again, as the Urban Knights will compete at Dominican on Thursday, Oct. 17 for a match before returning back to their home field for a three-match homestand.
