Posledni was one of three competitors in the tournament to register three or more birdies en route to her 5-over-par 77 through the first 18 holes. Each tied for fifth, junior

Valeria Ruiz posted scores of 6-over-par 78 with Ruiz's four birdies leading the day. Freshman
Tessa Geenen rounded out the ART U qualifiers tied for eighth with an 8-over-par 80.
With the top two individual performers in Lexi Nielsen (1-over-par 73) and Brenna Ozel (3-over-par 75), Sonoma State holds a 309 team total ahead of Academy of Art's collective 313 in second place.
The Urban Knights return to Poppy Ridge Golf Course for the second day of the Nighthawks Invitational tomorrow.
