Back preparing for their first competitive soccer match in well over a year, Academy of Art University men's soccer opens its 2020-21 season this week. Under the guidance of first-year Head Coach
Seamus Wisely and his staff, ART U begins its journey as a determined core of 16 returning student-athletes mix with seven talented newcomers.
Modified to six matches during the spring, the Urban Knights' campaign begins with Fresno Pacific and Dominican this week and is slated to span the month of February. For a more in-depth look at the 2020-21 schedule,

Led by a trio of seniors in forward
Adrian Cekala, midfielder
Jaret Gil, and goalkeeper
Kris Jensson, Academy of Art carries experience in each third of the field. In 2019, Cekala paced the team in both minutes (1,520) and points (5) on two goals and one assist while Jensson enters this year ranked third in program history in several categories including saves (164), save percentage (.701), goals against average (1.92), and shutouts (4).

Gilli Kristjansson and
Breki Einarsson, forward
Fannar Omarsson, goalkeeper
Davis King, and forward
Nnaemeka Chinatu, a transfer from Harcum College. Representing seven of the team's top 10 in minutes played last season, that group also accounted for more than half of the team's goals and assists in 2019.

Duncan Graham. They join a trio of sophomore transfers in defender

Coming together from all over the world to play the game they love, Academy of Art eagerly awaits its first kickoff of 2021 this Wednesday.
