2019 PacWest Conference Championship Round Two Results
LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. -- Academy of Art women's golf has separated themselves from the field, in fact they have left the rest of the field in the dust. The first place Urban Knights hold a 16 stoke advantage over second place Biola after tying the best single round score in PacWest Championship history with a 288 on day two. The stellar team effort is led by incredible performances from sophomore
Anahi Servin and freshman
Nattavadee "Baipor" Khunsri, who both came in under-par and in first and second respectively. Â
Highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 10th, Servin shot the third best single round in tournament history, coming in 5-under-par with a 67 and four birdies. Servin goes into the final day in prime position to repeat as PacWest Champion, in first place with a two-stroke lead over her teammate. Khunsri carded the second best round two of the entire field and fourth best single round in tournament history, with a 2-under-par 70 on five birdies that brought her tournament leading birdie total to nine. Sophomore
Iveta Posledni had the third best ART U score with a three stroke improvement over day one, shooting a 2-over-par 74 for a cumulative 151 and tied for sixth. Redshirt junior
Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo is one stroke behind Posledni with a cumulative 152 in eighth. Rounding out the scorers for ART U and making the fifth Urban Knight in the top-10, junior
Elan Hawkins shot a 78 in round two for a cumulative 154 and 10th place finish.
