2019 PacWest Conference Championship Round One Results

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. -- Academy of Art women's golf is in first place and holds a three stroke lead over Biola with a cumulative score of 300 after the first day of the PacWest Championship Tournament at Wigwam Resort. The excellent start is highlighted by four Urban Knights in the top 10 and three in the top five.

Freshman Nattavadee "Baipor" Khunsri continued her stellar second half of the season and leads the team with her 74 (+2), good for fourth place. Khunsri ended the day with four birdies, second most in the entire field. 2018 PacWest individual champion sophomore Anahi Servin had a solid start to her title defense, shooting a 75 (+3) to tie for fifth with junior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo. Junior Elan Hawkins came in as the final scorer for the Urban Knights with her 76 (+4) to tie for ninth.

ART U will look to maintain their first place positioning in round two at the PacWest Championship tomorrow at Wigwam Resort.
