Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout Day One Results
ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Three weeks after their first tournament of the spring, Academy of Art women's golf returns to action at the Tim Tierney Pioneer shootout at Corica Golf Complex where they sit in second after the first day of competition.

The second place Urban Knights are led by sophomore
Anahi Servin who shot a 72 (E) and is tied for fourth. Servin collected four birdies, third most in the field of 101 golfers, and had the lowest scoring on par-5's at -3. Coming off the best finish of her career at the
Mikuni Sushi Shootout, sophomore
Iveta Posledni places second highest for ART U, tied for sixth with a score of 74 (+2).
Junior
Elan Hawkins managed to crack the top 10 ending the first round tied for ninth with a solid 75 (+3). Freshman
Nattavadee "Baipor" Khunsri and redshirt junior
Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo end tied for the fourth spot for the Knights with a 77 (+5). Freshman
Chih-Hui "Judy" Shao, playing as an individual, had the best round of her collegiate career shooting a 76 (+4) to end tied for 16th.
As a team Academy of Art's cumulative score is 298 (+8). The Urban Knights hold a nine stroke advantage on third place Sonoma State and are just two strokes behind Cal State San Marcos (296) who sit atop the leaderboard.
