SAN FRANCISCO -- In their first home match of the season, No. 5 Academy of Art defeated No. 16 Rollins College 4-1 Wednesday morning at the Bay Club SF Tennis. The No. 5 Thell-Lenntorp twins maintained their perfect doubles record while ART U moved to 5-2 on the year with their second win over a top 25 ranked opponent.

Alma Thell-Lenntorp taking down Teresa Kaiser and Ola Durzynski 6-3 to improve their record to 7-0. Junior
Mariacristina Andrisani and freshman
Sofia Ragona clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Savanna Fuller and Carlye Goldman. Ragona went on to secure the first singles point for the Urban Knights as she cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win bringing her season singles record to an even 3-3. Senior
Taisiia Andrieieva dominated her first set 6-0, before battling out a long final point to take the second set 6-4. Andrisani would be the one to clinch the match for the Urban Knights following a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Teresa Kaiser. The junior from Italy is now 3-1 in singles.
Following the 4-1 win over Rollins College, Academy of Art improves to 5-2. The Urban Knights will continue their home stand with UH Hilo on March 20 at 9 a.m.
