NORTHWEST NAZARENE FOR FINAL NON-CONFERENCE
Coming off a four game sweep of Holy Names, Academy of Art is off to their best start in program history at 7-0. ART U will look to continue their undefeated season when they wrap non-conference play against Northwest Nazarene at Laney College.

KNIGHT WATCH
Less than a month into the season junior pitcher
Galen Manhard is just a single save shy of tying the single season and all-time career saves record. Manhard has been outstanding for the Urban Knights, with a 0.00 ERA and nine strikeouts through only 4.2 innings pitched. Senior pitcher
Mason Verhees also starts the season with a 0.00 ERA after an exceptional 6.1 innings pitched in ART U's 2-1 win over Holy Names on Feb. 18. In his first start of the season, Verhees allowed zero earned runs, three hits, and notched his first win.
Sophomore utility
Noah Daubin comes off a weekend featuring a game in which he collected his first career win on the mound and home run at the plate in the same game. He is the first Urban Knight ever to accomplish the feat. For the second straight week Junior outfielder
Thomas Delgadillo leads ART U and the entire PacWest in batting average (.552) and slugging percentage (.759). He has an OPS of 1.322, a home run, 16 hits, three doubles, and eighth runs batted in. Senior catcher
Zak May and junior shortstop
Justin Summers have the second highest averages on the team at .360. May leads the team in RBIs with 11 and Summers in doubles with four.
LATE NIGHT HAWK TALK
Northwest Nazarene starts the season 1-3 after a pair of tough two game series. The Nighthawks opened with a trip to St. George, Utah to take on Dixie State who they lost to 2-3 in the first game, but beat 6-5 the following game. In their next series NNU dropped two straight to Colorado Mesa 2-3 and 2-8. The Nighthawks offense is off to a slow start with a .168 team batting average, led by Michael Hults .286 average. On the other side of the ball, NNU has fared much better with a solid 3.82 team ERA. The Nighthawks are 10-1 all-time against the Urban Knights
SERIES SWEEP SENDS STREAK TO SEVEN
The 7-0 Urban Knights completed the series sweep of Holy Names on Sunday and continued to improve on by far their best start in program history. ART U played their closest game yet, but came out on top thanks to sterling pitching performances from senior pitcher
Mason Verhees and junior pitcher
Galen Manhard.

LOOKING AHEAD
After their series with the Nighthawks ART U will begin PacWest conference play with Point Loma, who they will take on March 1-2 at noon and 3 p.m. at Benedetti Diamond in San Francisco.
