Otter Invitational First Round Results

SEASIDE, Calif. -- The Urban Knights have teed off for the first time of the 2018 fall season at the Otter Invitational hosted by Cal State University Monterey Bay.

At the end of the first round sophomore Anahi Servin tops the stat sheet for ART U with 71 (-1) strokes, including two birdies. Not only does she lead the Urban Knights in scoring, but Servin is tied for first among all tournament competitors. The Paraguay native also leads the field in a couple different statistical categories including: par 4 scoring (0) and pars with 15.

Junior Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo sits in second for Academy of Art, shooting 76 (+4) through the first round putting her in eighth place. Kuo also tops a statistical category, leading the field in par 5 scoring at (-1).  Following closely behind is junior Elan Hawkins who shot a 77 (+5) on the day placing her in 11th.

Rounding out the scoring for ART U is sophomore Iveta Posledni with a score of 81(+9). Posledni led the Urban Knights, along with Servin, in birdies with two.

After the first set of 18 holes Academy of Art is perched near the top of the leaderboard in second place with a cumulative score of 305 (+17).

ART U will continue their first tournament of the year tomorrow teeing off at 8 a.m.
