PacWest Players of the Week April 30, 2018

IRVINE, Calif. – After tossing his career-first, 9-inning complete game against Hawaii Pacific over the weekend, junior right-hander Ben Kaser has been named the PacWest Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.
 
In game two of the series between ART U and HPU, Kaser mowed through the Sharks, holding them scoreless for the first 7.2 innings. All told, the Van Nuys, Calif. native allowed just one run (earned) on five hits, five strikeouts, and four walks. With the win, he is now 6-4 on the season and his six victories tie Nate Gercken (2015) for the program-lead in single-season wins.
 
This is Kaser's second PacWest honor this season as he was also named the conference pitcher of the week for throwing ART U's first no-hitter on February 17.
