LINCOLN, CALIF. – Academy of Art held the top spot heading into the final round of the Mikuni Sushi Shootout and on Tuesday, they refused to be dethroned. The Urban Knights posted a total of 315 strokes in the final 18 holes to finish 18 strokes in front of Chico State who placed second. Meanwhile, freshman
Anahi Servin also maintained her rank as the tournament's top individual as she posted a 75 (+4) in the final round to secure her first title of 2018 and the second of her career.

Servin compiled three more birdies on Tuesday to bring her tournament total to six which led the competition. Furthermore, she led all individuals with an average score of 2.88 on Par-3's. Heading into the back nine with a score of +5, Servin scored one under par in the remaining holes to secure the victory. The Asuncion, Paraguay native has now won two-consecutive tournaments dating back to the fall's final competition, the
Battle at the Bay.

Just two strokes behind was freshman
Iveta Posledni who entered the second round tied with Servin for the top spot. After a final set of 18 holes which included nine pars, Posledni shot an 81 which gave her a tie for fourth out of 46 individuals. Senior
Shu-lin Lin finished tied for sixth with an overall score of 158 and her five birdies in the two rounds were the second-most behind Servin. Closing out ART U's scorers was sophomore
Han-Chuan "Vicky" Kuo whose 159 total score was good for a ninth-place tie.

As a team, Academy of Art led in Par-4 and Par-5 scores and their 19 birdies were eight more than Cal State East Bay who finished in second with 11.

The Urban Knights next competition will take place February 26-27 when they will head down to Jurupa Valley, Calif. for the Lancer Shootout.
