BACK FROM THE ISLANDS
Returning from Hawaii with a 1-2 record, Academy of Art men's soccer will look to find some momentum over their next three games. The Urban Knights head to Division III UC Santa Cruz on October 10 before hosting a pair of matches against two PacWest heavyweights: Dixie State and Concordia.

Tuesday's match against the Banana Slugs will take place at 3:00 p.m. with Thursday's contest against the Trailblazers kicking off at 1:00 p.m. Wrapping up the homestand, Saturday's game against the Eagles will begin at 2:30 p.m. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Thus far, senior forward Alex Walsh leads the team with two goals and four points which includes his second goal in two games, a game-winner against Dominican on September 23. However, junior midfielder Bobby Gutierrez is tied for the team-lead in points (4) after scoring his first goal of the season against UH Hilo in the team's 1-0 victory. Gutierrez also leads the team with a pair of assists this season.

SLUGS ARE SLOW AT SEASON'S MIDWAY-POINT
Division III UCSC is 3-7-1 overall, but have won just one of their previous five contests. However, their win was a big upset, coming against No. 23-ranked Chico State, dropping the Wildcats from their spot at No. 14. Dominique Royall is the team's leader with four goals this season, accumulating nine points overall. However, five other Banana Slugs have scored this season, including two with three goals each.

TRILBLAZERS HAVE DROPPED TWO-STRAIGHT
Dixie State enters this week with a 7-2 overall record and they are 3-2 in the PacWest. The Trailblazers were on a hot streak of seven-consecutive wins to begin the season, but have since dropped their last two matches to No. 6 California Baptist as well as PacWest-leading Notre Dame de Namur. With five goals, Moises Medina is Dixie State's team leader and he is tied for the seventh-most in the conference.

EAGLES SECOND IN THE PACWEST
With a 6-3-1 overall mark and a nearly flawless, 5-1 conference-record, Concordia is second in the PacWest. The Eagles are just one point behind Notre Dame de Namur who has also has one more conference game under their belts. Tied with Dixie's Moises Medina for the seventh-most goals in the PacWest, Julian Font holds the team-lead with five. Jose Huerta and Connor Gordon have also contributed a fair amount of goals this season, collecting four apiece.

PREVIOUS MATCH: MEN'S SOCCER SHUT OUT BY HAWAII PACIFIC

LOOKING AHEAD
After their closing out their two-match homestand, the Urban Knights will take to the road against the likes of Fresno Pacific before returning home to host Holy Names.
