THE HOMESTAND CONTINUES
Fresh off of hosting the 2016 Golden Gate Classic, the Urban Knights will continue their homestand with a pair of non-conference matches against Cal State Monterey Bay and Concordia (Ore.). These games will serve as final tuneups for ART U before heading into the PacWest portion of the season when BYU Hawaii comes to San Francisco on Tuesday.

KICKOFF
Both Monday's and Friday's matches will take place at 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday's will kick off at 10:30 a.m. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
During the Golden Gate Classic, both sophomore midfielder Jordan Seech and senior defender Ricardo "Ricky" Mendoza were named to the All-Tournament team. Mendoza was a valuable part of ART U's mid and backfield, tirelessly attacking the ball and creating opportunities for the offense to score. Seech was responsible for both of the Urban Knights' goals in their come-from-behind, double overtime tie against Stanislaus State on Thursday and played all 110 minutes. It was the sophomore's first career two-goal match.

OTTERS STILL IN EARLYGOINGS
Cal State Monterey Bay has played just two games throughout the first couple weeks of the season, going 1-1 thus far. The Otters put together an 8-8 season in 2015, going 5-7 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), but were able to put together two streaks of three wins in a row.

CAVALIERS ARE WITHOUT LOSS
Concordia is 2-0-1 in 2016, posting wins against Dominican, Hawaii Pacific, and tying George Fox University. The Cavaliers posted a winning record both overall and in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) in 2015, going 7-5-5 and 5-4-5 respectively.

SEASIDERS ON THE ROAD
The game between ART U and BYU-Hawaii will be the first road contest of the season for the Seasiders and the trip will include five matches away from home. BYU-Hawaii is 1-1-1 thus far with their victory coming against Chaminade before the start of conference-play.

PREVIOUS MATCH: SEECH, MENDOZA NAMED ALL-TOURNEY AFTER LOSS
Sept. 2 - It has been a well-documented rivalry: that of Academy of Art (0-2-1) and SF State (0-3-1) men's soccer. In 2015, the Urban Knights came away with a thrilling 1-0 win in overtime during the Kezar Classic. Saturday was the gators' turn for glory, defeating ART U 5-0 in the finale of the Golden Gate Classic.

LOOKING AHEAD
Men's Soccer continues their seven game homestand when UH Hilo comes to San Francisco for the Knights' second PacWest contest of the season.
