2016 Women's Golf All-PacWest Awards
IRVINE, Calif. – Four members of the Academy of Art Women's Golf program have been selected for All-PacWest Honors.

Coach of the Year: Head Coach Elaine Harris
Â
Harris helped guide the team to its third NCAA Regional appearance. Under her watch, ART U placed within the top five in seven out of eight tournaments this season including a tie for first at the California Baptist Invitational. The team is ranked sixth in the region, 18th in the nation, and produced three PacWest Golfers of the Week.

This is Harris' second-consecutive coach of the year nod after being named
Co-Coach of the Year in 2015.

All-PacWest First Team: Junior Crystal Wang
Â
In 2016, Wang posted five top-five finishes including winning the
California Baptist Invitational. In the
PacWest Conference Championship, the La Jolla Calif. native finished tied for fourth and was named to the All-Tournament team. Wang was also named PacWest Women's Golfer of the Week twice during the season and is ranked 13th in the region.

This is Wang's third-consecutive All-PacWest First Team selection.

All-PacWest Second Team: Sophomore Sterling Hawkins
Â
Hawkins twice finished within the top 15 during the season. Her season best was a 7th-place finish at the PacWest Conference Championship. Her placing was good for a selection to the All-Tournament Team.

This is Hawkins' first All-PacWest Team Selection.

All-PacWest Third Team: Freshman Sabrina Virtusio
Â
Virtusio posted three top-ten finishes during this year including a season-best 2nd-place at the
Otter Invitational.
Â
In the PacWest Conference Championship, Virtusio placed sixth and was named to the All-Tournament team. She is currently ranked 17th in the region and received a
PacWest Women's Golfer of the Week Award for the week of March 24.
