PLNU Reach Final Results SAN DIEGO - Academy of Art women's golf dominated on day two of the PLNU Reach 2016.
Junior
Crystal Wang continued to lead the Urban Knights in day two, posting a 77 (a one-stroke improvement over round one). Wang finished 11 strokes behind the leader (155), giving her the sole fifth-place spot in the tournament.

Elaine Harris. "She hit the ball well and I look forward to seeing great things from her this semester."
Junior
Roxanne Matta had the second-lowest stroke total for ART U (159), scoring 81 on day one and improving to 78 in the final round. The Los Angeles native finished the invitational with the 10th-best overall score.
Harris iterated her pride of Matta's play by stating:
"Matta really came in strong and in finished great in her first round to keep the score low. Today, she put together a good round on very hard greens. It is great to see the juniors leading this team."
Sophomore
Sterling Hawkins also had an impressive overall tournament score (163). Even though her score rose nine strokes in the second round, she was still able to capture a tie for 15th in the tournament.
As a team, Academy of Art finished third in the invitational, 24 strokes behind the first-place host, Point Loma. ART U has now finished within the top five in three out of four tournaments this academic year.
The Urban Knights' next tournament will be held in Riverside at the CBU Women's Invitational.
