ON THE ROAD
After closing out a seven-game homestand, the Urban Knights will hit the road for three games within a week. Their stops include: Holy Names, Point Loma, and Azusa Pacific.
 
KICKOFF
Monday's game against the Hawks will have an evening kickoff at 4:00 p.m. After a quick break, the Knights are back in action on Thursday against the Sea Lions at 1:00 pm. and at Noon on Saturday against the Cougars. KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Sophomore midfielder Jordan Seech currently leads the Urban Knights with two goals and four points thus far. The advertising major also leads the team with 10 shots and four on goal. Freshman midfielder Isiah Quiros recorded his first-career goal against Concordia (Ore.) on September 16 and is tied for the team's second most points (2). Also tied is junior midfielder Jonny Navarro who was the hero against UH Hilo, scoring the winning goal in second overtime on September 24.

HAWKS STILL WINLESS
A month into the season, HNU is still searching for their first win, posting a record of 0-5-1, 0-3 PacWest. Before taking on ART U, the Hawks will play Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday in Belmont, Calif. Holy Names' top scorer is Bryan Bravo with one goal.
 
SEA LIONS MIRRORING URBAN KNIGHTS
Point Loma enters the weekend holding the same conference record  as ART U (1-2). The Sea Lions will host Dominican on October 1 before Academy of Art comes to town on Thursday. Nico Tagaloa currently leads PLNU with two goals and 12 shots on goal.
 
COUGARS ON A STREAK
APU entered PacWest play without a win, but in their conference matches, the Cougars are 2-2 and are on a two-game winning streak. Azusa Pacific will also have one tuneup match before hosting the Urban Knights on October 8. APU has ten goals thus far and Caleb Candelaria leads with three scores and six points.

PREVIOUS MATCH: STRONG CHAMINADE DEFENSE SHUTS OUT ART U
Sept. 20 - Academy of Art men's soccer (1-6-1, 1-2 PacWest) was poised for another defensive battle when Chaminade (2-3, 2-1 PacWest) arrived at Beach Chalet. After 90 minutes, 19 combined shots, and just one goal, that was exactly what they received. Despite their efforts however, they found themselves on the opposite end of a 1-0 score.

LOOKING AHEAD
After returning from their road trip, the Urban Knights will host Dominican at Kezar Stadium on October 16.
