Final Results
Rohnert Park, CA — The Academy of Art University women's golf team was the top Pacific West Conference team at the Sonoma State Fall Regional Preview as the final round wrapped up Tuesday, thanks in part to three top-20 individual finishes.

Sophomores
Roxanne Matta and
Crystal Wang both finished tied for ninth place to lead the Urban Knights. Each player shot rounds of 77 and 75, but alternated days doing it. Matta's 75 came in Monday's first round and put her in a tie for fifth. Wang shot 75 in Tuesday's final round to jump eight spots into the top-10.

Freshman Shu-Lin Lin finished tied for 20th (+13). Freshman
Sterling Hawkins finished 40th with a two-day score of 168 (+24) and sophomore
Gabriela Rosales was 51st.

ART U defeated the only other PacWest team in attendance, Dominican (CA), by 33 strokes. The Knights' team score of 629 for the tournament was also better than Cal State East Bay and University of Redlands.

The Sonoma State Fall Regional Preview concluded the Academy of Art University women's golf team's fall schedule. The team will now train through the rest of autumn and winter in preparation for its first spring tournament in February.
