Goodyear, AZ— The Academy of Art women's golf team shot a final round team score of 324 today shaving six strokes off of their first round score to finish in 12th place at the Grand Canyon Spring Invitational held at the Palm Valley Golf Club.

After the first day of play AAU's Lyra Yoe saw herself in a five way tie for 29th place.Yoe's three over par - 75 on the final day of play was good enough to bring her to 10th place overall. Yoe's 156 was just 19 strokes behind overall individual leader, Tarleton States' Clara Cooper.

Laura Huertas finished tied for 34th place, 79-83--162 while Andrea Nieto finished in a two-way tie for 53rd place. 

Freshmen Crystal Superal shot an 85 on both days of play for a combined 170, she placed 58th along with Jenna Wessels from St. Martin's University.  While Khadija Del-Lero shot 95- 89- 184 to finish tied for 78th.
